What should I expect during the healing process?
After your procedure, the treated area may appear darker and slightly swollen at first. Over the next several days, the skin will begin to heal, and light flaking may occur. It’s important not to pick or scratch the area, as this can affect pigment retention. The color will soften significantly as healing progresses. Final results are typically visible after 4–6 weeks, once the skin has fully settled.
